Studying in the UK is an exciting step towards developing yourself into a truly global graduate. Employers all over the world value the skills you bring in terms of languages, cultural awareness, resourcefulness, resilience and your ability to adapt to a new culture.
At BU, the CareersBU team provide a number of different resources to support you in developing the necessary skills for finding work during your studies and when you graduate. We run group workshops, employer events and provide one-to-one guidance to support you at every stage of the career planning and job hunting process.
You will also be able to use this service once you leave BU after graduation.
What is the Graduate Visa route?
The UK's Graduate Visa welcomes international students to apply to stay in the UK and work, or look for work, after they graduate. International students who successfully complete their undergraduate or postgraduate degree can apply to stay for up to two years after graduation and those who have undertaken a PhD can stay up to three years.
